Cloudbase Colombia was established in 2011. It is situated in one of the best cross-country areas of Colombia. Although it is still an insider tip, Cloudbase is becoming a meeting point for paragliders and hanggliding pilots.

The very traditional Colombian village of Roldanillo is located in the heart of Colombia in the department of Valle del Cauca, 100 km north of Cali. Roldanillo has 25.000 inhabitants and lies in the center of the several hundred kilometers long valley Valle del Cauca. Due to the ideal geographical location year-round flying is possible. Thus cross-country flight potential of up to 200 km is always a prospect. In the two rainy seasons from April to May and October to November Roldanillo offers about 4 flyable days out of 7. Best-known flight time is undoubtedly between December and March.
